Rory P. Sheehan grew up on a farm in Los Angeles County all the while debating whether to go Film School or get a degree in Landscape Architecture. The latter won out. His BS degree with an emphasis in ecology landed him a job with the Nature Conservancy working out of the 38,000 acre Dye Creek Preserve on the Sacramento River Restoration Project. With tens of thousands of planted trees and hundreds of restored acres under his belt he decided to go to grad school. 18 months later he had his master degree in Television Film and New Media from San Diego State University. Starting over on this new career path, his first job in "the biz" was an intern position on a Nora Ephron film fetching coffee, stocking refrigerators and copying call sheets. From here the advancement to EIC followed the production path of Production Coordinator to Production Manager to Line Producer. iHh His resume includes stage, reality and documentary programs such as The Man Show, Popstars, The Andy Milonakis Show, Life Cycle, Rock the Reception and Real Simple Real Life. He joined BNE as their EIC in October 2007 where he enjoys preparing budgets and cost reports.
